Telecommuting

While you may not find a veritable plethora of telecommuting jobs on this site, it certainly is a good one for online job searching.  This particular site, Getting Hired , is in the Beta version.  It helps connect disabled workers with jobs both online and off.  All disabled workers need to do is to create a free account, upload a current resume and fill out a few details in their profile.  That is pretty much it.

Big hitters that have signed on with Getting Hired include:

• Merck
• Starbucks Coffee
• Wells Fargo

… and many, many more.

My wife is a disabled worker, and she is trying out this website to see if she gets any leads.  We’ll report back with any additional information, especially since this site is in Beta.  If you’re disabled and are surfing the Internet for jobs, even if you want to get out and work in your locale, give this job site a try.  They may have more leads than you would typically see for other workers, since many businesses try to hire disabled workers for funding reasons.
