Demand Studio’s Meager Offerings

Published by gregg1970 at 10:51 pm under Daily Musings Edit This

I know I’m not the first person who has posted anything about writing for Demand Studios .  What I’d like to know is who actually gets any of the decent articles in the queue?  I’ve read the forums on their website and it seems many of the writers have the same problem.  New article titles seem to appear to a chosen few, while the rest of the writers are left scratching their heads and wondering what happened.

Latest offerings in the queue (actually, judging from the forum posts they are “old” offerings) run the gamut from designing an android to rebuilding boat motors.  Since most of these are “How-to” articles in the 400-word format, I’d like to know who could write these articles and who came up with the titles?  Actually, if I could write articles on those subjects, I certainly would charge a heck of a lot more for them than the going rate of $15 per article.  Personally, I’m guessing that the people who could write these articles are busy doing the actual work for about $45 or more per hour.  I also doubt they are hanging around looking for articles to write on the internet!

Demand Studios is probably a good gig for people who can figure out exactly when the new article titles are dumped onto the system.  For the rest of us, it probably will never be a viable income stream.  Good luck to those of you who have fallen asleep at your computers waiting for the elusive titles to appear - you certainly deserve them!
