Associated Content Opportunities

Published by gregg1970 at 11:25 am under Online Writing Edit This

I have to agree with a person who commented on my previous blog about Constant Content - it is nice to have up-front payments on things that are written, as opposed to waiting for payments.  It can be difficult to make ends meet when you have to wait a month or more to receive payments.

Associated Content will pay for articles up front, and there is another incentive, PPV revenue to be made after the articles have been submitted.  While the PPV option probably won’t make you rich, it is good for people who write evergreen content.

I did sign up for an account with Associated Content and will be submitting some short articles there this week.  I like the fact that they give you article ideas if you’re bad at this kind of thing (yes, I humbly accept the fact I fall in this category), and while I may not get rich writing these articles, at least they are on topics I’m familiar with (Christmas in my home town- yep, I can do this).

I’m going to track my success on Associated Content for a month and share the results with my blog readers in January.  This may help anyone out there who is just starting out and doesn’t have a clue about what they can expect to make on these sites.

In the meantime, my search for Internet jobs continues.  Tomorrow- photography jobs.

~~Gregg

I write quite a bit for AC - my page is http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/6227/tamara_waters.html - and I’ve found that it’s a great place to hone your skills and earn some extra income. Message me from my AC page and I’ll stop by to visit yours!

I’ll be interested to see what your feelings about AC are after you’ve been there for a while. Be patient, though. This isn’t really the best time of year to get started. Everybody’s trying to make extra money for Xmas, so the reviewers are probably getting a bit more behind each day. I have three articles in the queue right now. One of them is at day six of waiting. The next one is for Christmas, so I hope it gets published in time to be useful.

Looking forward to your results. With so many options (Constant Content, Associated Content, Helium, etc.) I don’t know where to start freelancing! Maybe you can answer that question!

I am glad I found your site. I have signed with AC but have not been sure if I should try it. I signed up when I was sure I could write a lot of articles. I will revisit AC now and see about giving it a try.

Have you tried writing at Bukisa yet? I have been using them for a month and I really like it so far…it looks like the passive income potential is pretty substantial. http://www.bukisa.com/join/1116

Let me know how this works for you - I am also writing for helium and though my articles are scoring pretty good those scores change when it is time for payment so I have not made too much as of yet. I have only been there for a couple of weeks though.

I tried writing for AC years ago, but I soon discovered why they wanted to pay me. Now I write for places like Today.com where they allow me to promote my own agenda along side theirs as long as I keep it subtle. Now instead of getting $5 for an article I can easily net $40 or more with no more effort.
