Obama Birth Certificate Researcher
It is hard not to notice the interest surrounding whether Obama is from Kenya or Hawaii due to the suspect birth certificate, or lack of one. What does this have to do with telecommuting? Well, believe it or not, there are telecommuting jobs that are public record research jobs. While you may not be looking for birth certificates in Kenya, which would be pretty difficult if you know anything about their government, you could make extra money, or even a decent income as a public records researcher.
If you’re not familiar with this job description, consider that of genealogist researcher. Perhaps that sounds a little more familiar. Generally, if you work as a researcher in the capacity of a genealogist, you’d be looking for public records, such as social security numbers, birth certificates, military records and the like. If this sounds at all interesting to you, and going through old papers, newspapers and the like doesn’t make you sneeze, this could be the ideal job for you.
How do you get jobs like these? Primarily, you can offer your services at a local library. Many libraries receive these kinds of request, but they don’t have the time to do this. Additionally, you could offer your services in the newspapers, genealogy-related magazines and on the Internet. Finally, these jobs can sometimes also be found on the Internet, just Google the words genealogy research jobs, research jobs or public record research jobs. There aren’t a ton out there, probably because it can entail a lot of leg work and knowledge of research techniques.
