Constantly Writing for Constant Content?
Ah, it is Sunday and I’ve spent hours surfing the Internet for various writing gigs. I’ve spoken with a few people who have done the ConstantContent.com gigs, and they’re ambivalent about it. I think the reason they’re not sure how they feel about it is because of the fees they need to fork over when they sell an article. The competition is also pretty fierce. According to their website, there is somewhere in the neighborhood of 7500 writers available.
My personal concern with this site, though I’m willing to give it a go, is that you write articles, upload them, then hope they sell. While you can write public messages to ask questions of the individuals requesting a specific kind of article, it doesn’t mean you’ll get an answer, nor does it guarantee a sale. I guess I’m more of a sure-thing kind of person. However, in my case, beggars can’t be choosers so I’ll probably browse their requested article queue for something I can write on tomorrow.
If you have an experience with Constant Content that you’d like to share, feel free to drop me a comment about it. I’d like to avoid any mistakes that cost me time or money. If I do any writing for them, I’ll be sure to share my experience here- be it a good or a bad one.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

I had received one payout from Constant Content and quit writing for them. The reason is exactly what you have said: I don’t like the idea of writing articles, submitting them, and then *hoping* to sell them. I want quicker pay for my work.
I have recently checked my account at CC, and the articles that I had left sitting there had accumulated something around $27, so I figured I’d write some more and try to reach $50 again.
Hi Rusty, You’d think after a year or so they would just pay out on those old accounts. I wonder how much money they owe people who quit writing and never reached that magical $50 mark?
The income potential at CC is higher than for any other writing site, but if you don’t put up enough articles, or don’t enjoy writing the kind of articles that attract buyers on a regular basis, then it’s not worth starting there. I’ve considered it, but my age and declining energy mean that I’m taking more of a short-term, sure-thing attitude. I need money now, and the possibility of getting it sometime in a distant future doesn’t appeal to me very much. I’ve tried nearly every writing site on the web, and have finally settled on Associated Content because the upfront payment is most important, with the PPV potential a added incentive, but not the major one.
