Rejection Letters and Telecommuting Job Lead

Published by gregg1970 at 2:55 pm under Online Writing Edit This

I don’t know if it is the weather, or simply the fact that I’ve received a barrage of rejection letters via email today.  I’m feeling a little bummed doing my job search this afternoon.  Hey, I should be happy- most businesses don’t even send you rejection letters so they can save on postage.  Hooray for email.  ~~Bah, humbug.~~

I wanted to thank some of the people who have been sending me encouraging notes in my comment section.  This may sound really naive,  but since I hadn’t done a blog before, it was an unexpected boost this morning.  I’m adding some of these fellow bloggers to my blogroll, so feel free to check them out and send them kudos.  (Yea, fellow bloggers!)

I wanted to let other telecommuters out there about some freelance job openings at LoveToKnow.com. My wife, Charlotte Gerber, is an editor there, and they are always looking for good writers over there.  They are also adding lots of new information channels, so check them out.  If you do decide to apply, tell ‘em Charlotte sent you.  The pay rate is pretty good, $20 per article and you’ll get at least 20 articles per month to write- more if you request them after you’ve proven you’re dependable.  I’ll be sending my application soon, after I brush up on using Word and spell/grammar check (not much use for that in the trucking industry).  Wish me luck!

~~Gregg
